| Well, here we are on top of Pikes Peak. I drove the length of the road up the mountain, and wow...it was a trip! We were so thankful to have Mom and Dad Funk come and have a bit of a vacation with us here in Colorado. We had a great time. We went to the Rocky Mountain National Park, the Denver Museum of Natural History, and the Molly Brown House in downtown Denver. We had a great time just getting to hang out and catch up with each other. | ||

| The photo of the glowing aspen trees is what allowed us to be in this perfect spot to see these young elk crossing the roadway. This caused a perfect Elk Jam. | ||
